11 Rice Flour uses other than cooking
You might be thinking that the flour made from finely milled rice will be used for only cooking purposes. But think again, although it is used in many dishes as an ingredient, rice flour has uses outside of the kitchen too. All that makes the rice flour a very useful multi-purpose commodity. Let’s have a look at the rice flour uses which you probably didn’t knew about.
- Rice flour becomes a perfect treatment for the acne and acne scars when it is combined with the turmeric powder and applied as a face mask.
- It is used for the cultivation of mushrooms, as it can combine with vermiculite for use as a substrate. This is a very low-cost method of growing edible mushrooms.
- You can make play and cloud dough from it and the kids will totally love to play in it. Here you also get to choose your own colours.
- If you have a dry skin, you can use the scrub of rice flour on it. By adding strawberry and cream in it, the skin becomes smooth and moisturising.
- You can make glue and spray adhesive using the rice flour and use it for home purposes. But only for the light duty jobs it will be useful.
- Rice flour mask is a very good solution for sagging skin and any other types too. It draws out all the impurities from the face and firms up the skin.
- It can also be used as a brass/copper cleaner. Just add salt and white vinegar in equal parts in the rice flour and apply the mixture with a sponge.
- If you have dark circles around the eyes, use rice flour with banana and castor oil.
- The shine on your stainless steel can be brought back with the usage of the rice flour on them.
- Rice flour is also good for your hairs. Along with the shikakai powder it keeps the hairs soft and smooth.
- By putting the rice flour around the plant which is being bothered by the ants, it will deter them and save the plant.
